LAPhotobooth needs a 10″ x 10″ space to set up in. If the weather is good you can have the photobooth outdoors. Otherwise, it is best to select an area of your gathering that is slightly out of the way but not hidden. At a recent party, the photobooth was set up in the vestibule of the house so guests passed by the action on their way into the main space. You could also use a bedroom or garage as long as there is enough space for all the equipment and minimal clutter.
We bring all the equipment (lights, stands, backdrop, digital SLR camera, laptop, props and a remote control). Your guests may take as many pictures as they like using the remote control. As the photos get processed your guests will be able to watch them appear in real time on the monitor in front of them. Afterward, we will give you a cd of the images that you can upload, email or print.
The best part about having Laphotobooth is that the pace of the photographs is set at your own pace rather than managed by the photographer. Many people feel more at ease when they are left in control to press the capture button on the remote control. While technical support will be readily on hand to assist with any problems the process is extremely straightforward and easy to manage.
